About Gavial Limited

Gavial was formed from the amalgamation of two businesses formerly run by each of the Directors. We have a team of experienced professionals, programmers and designers working from Bristol and Bath.

Gavial offers a range of internet services including website production, hosting services and databases.

We published our first website in 1990 when the internet was in its infancy and have continually developed and expanded our services since. We have produced a wide range of sites and can offer solutions from a simple new business start up to a multifunctional large business site. We have very long experience working with schools, charities, tourism, small and large businesses and organisations.

One of the earliest sites on the internet was produced by one of our Directors, Julian Bewick. It was published before ISPs (Internet Service Providers) had been thought of and was initially hosted on a server at Bath University. One of it's early incarnations can still be seen on the "Way back machine"
